For the Case V8.35.0 Release, targeted for April 10th, we're planning the following improvements.
Enhancements:
- All Cases Table: Added a Tech Support Case # field to the Additional Info panel for improved reference and tracking.
- Added a Tech Support Case # column to the All Cases table to enhance case visibility and tracking.
- Operations Search Source Menu: Location admins can now set the default operation source to All, simplifying search behavior across operations.
Fixes:
- Edit Operation Screen: Parts can no longer be created or edited with a negative unit price or negative core price.
- Fleet Case - Edit Depot Screen: The Contacts section now includes a Delete option in the Actions column that opens a confirmation modal to remove a depot contact.

Case V8.35.0
Tech Support Case # - Text Entry Field
New Tech Support Case # field added to the Additional Info section of the Editing Case details page. This is a free-text field intended to capture a reference number from an external support system, when applicable.
*Note: The field can be enabled by location Admins (Admin>Customize Your Database>Features>Tech Support Case Number)
Tech Support Case # - All Cases Table
Tech Support Case # All Cases table column: This column will display the free-text, user-entered field values, intended to capture a reference number from an external support system, when applicable. Clicking the column header will provide an easy way to see all cases that have a value in this field.
*Note: No filtering is available.
Operation Table - Operation Source Configuration Default
Allows Location Admins to choose a default operation source based on the locations' visible sources or set the default to ALL.
The ALL default will return all sources in the search results from the visible sources.
Reminders:
- OEM Required sources cannot be hidden.
- At least one source must be visible.
*Note: Configuration is managed per location.
Edit Operations - Parts Negative Unit Prices
We’ve implemented a validation update to prevent parts from being created or edited with a negative unit price or negative core price.
What Changed: Parts can no longer be saved with negative values for:
- Unit Price
- Core Price
This adjustment ensures compatibility with downstream Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and prevents errors or failures when exporting parts data. This allows for smoother exports and more reliable integrations.
Fleet Case - Edit Depot Contacts
On the Edit Depot screen, the Contacts section now includes a Delete option in the Actions column.
- Remove an existing depot contact directly from the Contacts list.
- Selecting Delete opens a new confirmation modal to safely remove the chosen contact.
- This update improves contact management and reduces the steps needed to maintain accurate depot records.
