Case V8.38.0 (Targeted for May 22nd, 2026):
On‑site Asset Location Field:
We are adding a new On‑site Asset Location field to improve visibility into an asset's physical location while it is on-site for service.
What’s new:
- A dedicated field to capture an asset’s temporary, on‑site location during service.
- Easily view and update where an asset is located directly from the work item.
- Improved coordination for service teams working across multiple bays, yards, or facilities.
Why it matters: Knowing exactly where an asset is located helps reduce delays, improve handoffs between teams, and streamline service operations—especially in high‑volume or multi‑location environments.
Tech Support Case #:
We’ve enhanced the layout of a new column on the All Cases tables to improve header readability.
When the Tech Support Case # column was empty, the column header text would span the full width of the header. The header text now wraps correctly even when the column is empty, resulting in a cleaner, more readable table layout.
- Improves visual clarity and consistency in All Cases tables
- No changes to user workflow or data behavior
DMS‑Based Labor Rate Improved Experience:
When an operation’s labor rate is provided through the Labor Time Interface (DMS), the Skill Level field is now hidden on the Edit Operation screen—consistent with behavior in the Custom Operation modal.
This removes options that don’t affect pricing, reduces confusion during edits, and keeps the screen focused on fields you can control.
- Labor rate provided by DMS → Skill Level field is hidden
- Labor rate not provided by DMS → Skill Level field remains available.
Program Types:
Providers can remove Program Types and retain historical data.
When a Program Type is no longer needed, it can be deleted, removing it from active use while still preserving references for historical records.
This helps keep Program Type lists clean and up to date without impacting past data or reporting accuracy.
- Deleted Program Types → Hidden from selection but retained for historical reference
- Active Program Types → Continue to function as before
Labor Time Markup:
We’ve Clarified the text describing rounding options for Labor Time Markup.
This change updates labeling and descriptive copy only for Labor Time Markup rounding options to improve clarity and understanding. There is no change to calculation logic or system behavior.
- Improves clarity and reduces confusion when selecting rounding options
- No impact to pricing, calculations, or workflows
- This is purely a copy text update
